The Traddock is one of the best luxury dog friendly hotels in the north of Yorkshire and we welcome dogs in all our rooms and suites.

Our regular fluffy guests are well known by our staff and as a walking hotel are all very much part of the ambience of the hotel. We welcome dogs into all our bedrooms with up to a maximum of 2 dogs per room. We have 2 good sized lawns in the hotel grounds for exercise and for days out, there is an immense variety of walks in the surrounding Yorkshire Dales National Park, taking in the Dales and its famous three peaks, rivers, hamlets and limestone pavements.

There are of course plenty of less energetic pursuits to be had, visiting gardens, historic castles, quaint towns, and unusual shops, or just admiring the beauty of the Dales from the hotel gardens or patio. We have a dog bin in our car park and facilities to wash dogs outside along with the loan of a towel to dry them with should you require.

We make a small charge of £10.00 per dog, per day for dogs in your room, and ask guests to follow a few house rules:-

• Dogs are kept on a lead at all times while in the hotel and are allowed throughout the hotel except in our two dining rooms.
• Dogs are well behaved and under control at all times.
• Dogs are never left unattended for long periods in our rooms.
• Dogs are not allowed on our beds or other furniture.

If you would like to eat with your dog then we have a small bar area where we are very happy to accommodate you for both breakfast, lunch or dinner. Please do let us know at the time of booking if you wish to eat in the bar so we can reserve you a table as space is limited.
